The asset-based finance market moves on relationships. Knowing who to call, when to call them, and how to structure a deal that works for everyone — that's not something you learn overnight.
Mike Cannatella has spent over a decade learning exactly that.
He started at Moody's Analytics, where he built a credit risk foundation that still shapes how he evaluates opportunities today. He then joined Finsight as one of its first eight employees, helping grow a scrappy startup into a market leader in capital markets technology. After that, he spent years on the origination side — sourcing first-of-their-kind partnerships in the auto ABS space and helping fintech lenders access the capital markets for the first time.
Most recently, he consulted independently with credit funds and growth-stage lenders across the asset-based finance market — sitting with clients at their earliest, most critical decisions.
"Honestly, the through-line in everything I've done has been connecting the right people at the right time. Whether I was helping a lender figure out how to access the capital markets for the first time or working with an investor to find the right deal, it always came down to trust and relationships. That's what I'm looking forward to building here," stated Cannatella.
For clients and partners across the New York area, that experience is now in your corner.
Welcome to Concord, Mike.
